1-DAY PRIVATELY GUIDED RAINFOREST TOUR Code: 1DPGW This tour is based on our one-day eco-cultural walk, but is tailor-made to best suit your own requirements, in terms of the duration of the walk component and the addition of other activities in the Whirinaki area. It is best suited for those who do not wish to participate in a departure with others. On this tour, a personal Maori guide will take you on as much, or as little, of the usual one-day walk route as you wish. Additional features include complimentary wine at the end of your time in the rainforest and a short visit to a historic Maori marae (village complex) nearby. Departures ex Rotorua or Taupo. Cost $325 per head. Operates year-round.
